MASTERCLASS DI ORGANO DI MATTEO IMBRUNO
La Fondazione Flavio Vespasiano in occasione della XIII edizione del Reate Festival organizza una Masterclass di Organo tenuta dal 27 al 30 settembre 2021 dal Matteo Imbruno con concerto finale il 1° ottobre 2021 dedicata a tutti coloro che vogliano approfondire e perfezionare gli aspetti interpretativi della letteratura per organo.
Matteo Imbruno, organista titolare della Oude Kerk di Amsterdam e del museo “Hermitage Amsterdam”, ha studiato a Bologna, Rotterdam e Lubecca. Concertista di fama internazionale si è esibito nei più prestigiosi festival organistici di tutto il mondo quali Londra, Lipsia, Vienna, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro. Ha inoltre suonato diverse volte a due organi con Gustav Leonhardt. Viene spesso invitato a far parte delle giurie di concorsi organistici internazionali e gli sono affidati frequentemente corsi di specializzazione da numerose istituzioni musicali. È professore ospite presso il Conservatorio di Buenos Aires, Rosario e Mendoza (Argentina). Ha inciso 8 CD e un DVD per diverse case discografiche, accolti molto favorevolmente dalla critica. Ha anche effettuato registrazioni per la BBC Radio Londra. Inoltre, è direttore artistico del Concorso Organistico Internazionale “Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck” ed è Presidente della Fondazione “Muziek in de Oude Kerk” di Amsterdam.
REGOLAMENTO
Ammissione
Possono partecipare tutti gli organisti diplomati o diplomandi presso i Conservatori italiani ed europei in qualità di allievi effettivi o uditori nonché gli appassionati che vorranno partecipare in qualità di uditori, senza limiti di età.
Ammissioni di studenti effettivi
Gli interessati alla frequenza in qualità di effettivi devono inoltrare domanda di ammissione (allegato A) entro il termine del 7 settembre 2021 allegando il programma che intendono presentare alla masterclass, un curriculum artistico, insieme alla scheda con i propri dati personali compilata in ogni sua parte secondo l’allegato C.
Saranno ammessi al massimo 10 allievi effettivi selezionati dal docente in base al curriculum presentato.
Iscrizioni di studenti effettivi
Entro il 12 settembre verranno pubblicati sul sito del Reate Festival gli elenchi degli allievi effettivi ammessi, che verranno inoltre contattati ufficialmente dall’organizzazione tramite e-mail.
Gli ammessi dovranno far pervenire alla segreteria artistica del Reate Festival entro il 20 settembre 2021 la domanda di iscrizione (allegato B), allegando copia della ricevuta del versamento della prevista quota di frequenza.
Alla fine del corso è previsto un concerto pubblico a cui gli allievi effettivi, su indicazione del docente, sono tenuti a partecipare.
Il miglior allievo del corso, su insindacabile giudizio del docente, potrà essere invitato a tenere un concerto nell’ambito dell’edizione 2022 del Reate Festival. Per tale prestazione l’allievo prescelto riceverà un rimborso spese.
Studenti uditori
Gli interessati alla frequenza in qualità di uditori - e gli esclusi dall’elenco degli ammessi in qualità di effettivi che lo abbiano indicato nella domanda di ammissione (avendo barrato entrambe le caselle dell’allegato A) - devono inoltrare domanda di iscrizione (allegato B) entro il termine del 20 settembre 2021 allegando copia della ricevuta del versamento delle previste quote di frequenza.

Gli importi di cui sopra devono essere versati tramite bonifico bancario intestato alla Fondazione Flavio Vespasiano, con causale Quota di iscrizione Masterclass di Organo e Quota di frequenza allievo effettivo o allievo uditore.
La Scheda di iscrizione, redatta secondo il modulo allegato, il versamento della quota di iscrizione e il curriculum artistico del candidato dovranno pervenire via mail alla Direzione Artistica del Reate Festival entro il 7 settembre 2021.
In caso di rinuncia, la quota di iscrizione non potrà essere rimborsata.
Il corso sarà attivato con un minimo di 6 allievi effettivi. In caso di annullamento per cause di forza maggiore le quote di iscrizione versate saranno rimborsate integralmente
Resta inteso che in ogni fase del corso verranno tassativamente applicate le procedure di sicurezza rese necessarie dall’emergenza sanitaria in stretta osservanza con le disposizioni di legge.
Lezioni
Le lezioni si terranno sull’organo Dom Bedos-Roubo della Chiesa di San Domenico con orario orientativo 10 – 13; 15 – 18 dal 27 al 30 settembre 2021.
Il concerto finale si terrà nella stessa Chiesa di San Domenico venerdì 1° ottobre 2021.
L’Organo Monumentale Dom Bedos-Roubo Benedetto XVI è stato costruito da Barthelemy Formentelli dal 2004 al 2009 per la Basilica di San Domenico a Rieti, nel pieno centro storico della città; si può dire che lo strumento rappresenta uno dei vertici del gusto classico francese ed è un omaggio a François Dom Bedos de Celles in occasione del tricentenario della sua nascita. Strumento a 5 manuali e 57 registri reali è ispirato al trattato "L'Art du Facteur d'Orgues” per lo strumento musicale e a " L'Art du Menuisier Ebeniste Carrossier” (1760-1770) di Mr. Roubo le Fils per quanto riguarda la cassa in noce. Gli intagli e le sculture sono stati realizzati da Sergio Bellani di Bovolone, sui disegni di Andreas Roubo.

ORGAN MASTERCLASS with MATTEO IMBRUNO
The Flavio Vespasiano Foundation, on the occasion of the XIII edition of the Reate Festival, organizes an Organ Masterclass held by Matteo Imbruno from 27 to 30 September 2021 with a final concert on 1° October 2021 dedicated to all those who want to improve and ameliorate the interpretative aspects of the organ literature.
Matteo Imbruno, organist owner of the Oude Kerk of Amsterdam and the museum “Hermitage Amsterdam”, studied at Bologna, Rotterdam, Lubeck. A celebrity with international fame has performed at the most prestigious organ concerts of the world such as London, Leipzig, Wien, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro. Moreover, he has performed several times with two organs with Gustav Leonhardt. Very often he is invited to be part of the panel of judges of the organ’s international competitions. Several musical institutions frequently entrust to him masterclasses. M° Imbruno is a visiting professor at the Conservatoire of Buenos Airess, Rosario and Mendoza (Argentina). He has recorded eight CDs and one DVD for several record companies, which were very well received by the critics. He has recorded also for BBC Radio London. Furthermore, he is the artistic director of the Organ International Competition “Jan Pieterszoom Sweelinck” and is Director of the Foundation “Muziek in de Oude Kerk” of Amsterdam.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
Admission
To the masterclass can participate all the professional organists or graduating senior organists at the Italian or European Music Conservatoire`s as active participants or auditor participants and also those who enjoy music and want to participate as auditors, without age limits.
Admission of Active students
Those who want to be active students must submit the admission form (Attachment A) within 7 September 2021 by attaching their program of participation to the Masterclass, their artistic CV, together with the participation form and personal data filled in each part (Attachment C).
A maximum number of 10 active students will be admitted and selected from the teacher based on their artistic CV.
Registration of active students
Within 12 September 2021 will be published the list of the admitted active students on the Reate Festival website. In addition, an e-mail will be sent from the organization to the selected students.
The admitted students must send to the artistic secretary of the Reate Festival within 20 September 2021 the application form (Attachment B), including a copy of the receipt of payment of the registration fee provided for the participation.
At the end of the classes, the active students will participate in a public concert, indicated by the teacher.
The best student of the classes, chosen by indisputable judgment of the teacher, will be invited to give a concert at the Reate Festival 2022 edition. For that, the student will receive a reimbursement of the expenses.
Auditor students
Those interested as auditor participants - and those excluded from the list of active participants who indicated in their admission form (by selecting both boxes of Attachment A) - must send their application form (Attachment B) within 20 September 2021 including a copy of the receipt of payment of registration fee provided for the participation.

The registration fee must be paid by bank transfer to Banca Intesa Sanpaolo assigned to Fondazione Flavio Vespasiano, with reason for payment “Quota di iscrizione Masterclass di Organo” and “Quota di frequenza allievo effettivo o allievo uditore”.
The admission form, composed as in the included form, the payment of the registration fee, and the artistic CV of the candidate must be sent within 7 September 2021.
This registration fee is not refundable in case of participant cancellation.
The classes will be activated with a minimum of 6 active students. In case of participant’s cancellation for major causes, the registration fees will be entirely refunded.
It is understood that each stage of the classes will be held concerning emergency measures made necessary by the health emergency following the legal regulations.
Classes
The classes will take place on the organ Dom Bedos-Roubo of the Church of San Domenico, indicatively 10 – 13; 15 – 18 from 27 to 30 September 2021.
The final concert will take place at the Church of San Domenico on Friday 1° October 2021.
The monumental organ Dom Bedos-Roubo Benedetto XVI was created by Bathelemy Formentelli from 2004 to 2009 for the Basilica of San Domenico in the center of Rieti; it can be said that this instrument represents one of the greatest examples of classical French taste and is a tribute to François Dom Bedos de Celles on the occasion of the tricentenary of his birth. An instrument with 5 manuals and 57 real extensions, it is inspired to the work “L’Art du Facteur d’Orgues” for the musical instrument and to “L’Art du Menuisier Ebeniste Carrossier” (1760-1770) of Mr. Roubo le Fils for its loft in walnut. The carvings and the sculptures have been realized by Sergio Bellani of Bovolone, based on Andreas Rubo’s drawings.
